This is a very attractive example of a Canadian manufactured outboard. The boat was actually in pretty good shape from first appearances, like most boats that are original. It leaked continuously and needed a new bottom. Once we rolled her over and removed the old bottom, we discovered two badly cracked frames and several rotted knees which were not visible until the planking was removed. Uneventful bottom and transom replacement and hullside refinish on the cute
little Shepherd outboard. No real problems found.
